The purpose of BFCC Ministry Partners is to make and grow disciples for Jesus Christ of all people by partnering with like-minded people and organizations, both locally and globally, who share the love of God in Christ with truth and grace. We seek to provide ongoing support through prayer, finances, and friendship that enable our partners to be effective witnesses of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their ministry context.

1. We value the broadest possible scope of spreading the Gospel.

Therefore…we will seek to choose and support ministry partners who meet spiritual (“make disciples”) and physical needs (“whatever you did for one of the least of these you did for me”), with the broadest possible scope (“of all nations”), seeking God’s leading everywhere, and in any way He calls us.

2. We value developing ongoing friendships with ministry partners to help maintain love as the proper motive for giving and supporting them.

Therefore…we will seek to choose and support ministry partners who are able to connect to our congregation in personal ways. We pledge to generously support our missionaries through prayer, correspondence, financial gifts, and hosting personal visits.

3. We value participating in the work of ministry, not simply supporting ministry partners.

Therefore…we will seek to choose and support ministry partners who are receptive to short-term trips and opportunities for us to serve personally with our partners.

4. We value setting apart, sending out and supporting people from our own congregation as the Holy Spirit calls them.

Therefore…we will seek to financially and spiritually support BFCC members who are training for all types of ministry, as well as those who have experienced the call of the Holy Spirit to serve as ministry partners both here and abroad.

5. We value educating our congregation and others about our ministry partners and our values, that we may call them into greater prayer, participation, and support.

Therefore…we will seek to provide regular ministry partner updates, testimonies, and other forms of communication to report on all that God is doing through our ministry partners.
