ABOUT US
St. Boniface Church, Tipton, KS, was founded in 1884 & received it's first resident pastor. A rectory was build in 1887 and a larger church in 1899. The first church was converted to a school where the Sisters of St. Joseph of Concordia taught until 1972. St. Boniface Church burned in 1952. The parish already had submitted plans to build a new church, and construction began almost immediately. The new church which is currently still used was dedicated in 1954. The bell tower was added in 1963 and stained glass windows were added in 1967. St. Boniface Church & it's Parishioners gather annually for a summer picnic that raises in excess of 125,000 to help operate the Tipton Catholic High School which was constructed in 1919.
