Engaging Our Youth

MITCHELL COUNTY 5TH GRADERS

Our future is our youth. The SVCF Board has a passion and vision of engaging the youth of Mitchell County in philanthropy. Through committee work, our Board identified the 5th graders of Mitchell County as our focus for investment of education, time, and empowerment. Leading up to Give to Grow, we will be visiting every 5th-grade classroom in Mitchell County, Beloit Elementary, Lakeside Elementary, St. John's, and Tipton Community School. We will work to engage the students in learning more about philanthropy and how they can apply their time, talent, and treasure to the things that mean the most to them. 

We have also invited all Mitchell County 5th graders to attend Give to Grow, and each student will receive Give to Grow money to donate to the organization(s) of their choice.
