Beloit Booster Club

Specific Need

The Beloit Booster Club holds a Field of Interest Fund through the Solomon Valley Community Foundation. The goal is to grow this fund, utilize fund proceeds to further the mission of Booster Club, and continue to support Beloit Jr-Sr High student athletes.

Mission

The purpose of the Beloit Booster Club is to support Beloit Jr. High and High School athletic programs by providing parental leadership to all team members and coaches, providing financial leadership through fundraising efforts, promotions and events, and displaying and encouraging good sportsmanship.

Profile

The Beloit Booster Club funds the following athletic expenses annually:

- Medals for all events hosted by BJSHS

- Portion of HUDL software

- Neptune Radio

- 5 Blackshirt Scholarships each May to BHS seniors

Over the past several years, the Beloit Booster Club has provided funding for the following:

- Basketball Shoot-away Gun

- Weight room upgrades

- New state banners for gymnasium

- Portion of High Jump pit

- Softball pitching machine

- Junior High basketball uniforms

- Baseball field upgrades

- Portion of wrestling mat

- Portion of volleyball net

- Courtside chairs for gym

- Football equipment

- Fan pom poms

- Girls basketball practice jerseys

- Volleyballs

- Football headsets

- New record boards

- High school basketball uniforms

- New tennis machine

- Video equipment

- Track equipment

- Softball equipment

- Cheer uniforms and new mascot

- Funds for softball tournament

- Gym video board sponsor signage

- Gym scorer's table

- Portion of stadium speaker system

- Pole for pole vault

- Contribution toward new baseball shed

- New golf bags

- Contribution toward softball speaker system

- Warmups for High School Wrestling

- Cones for Cross Country meets

- Wellness Center fees for Cross Country practices at indoor swimming pool

- $10 to each athlete involved in state competition to purchase a meal while at state

- Flags for Trojan Stadium

- Fence Cups for Trojan Stadium

- Contribution toward 2025 Trojan Stadium Capital Campaign

- Membership Drive

- Beloit Trojan Stadium clean-up and Softball/Baseball complex clean-up

- Watermelon feed to all student athletes involved in fall sports

- Fall sports kick-off celebration and hamburger feed

- Soup supper and concession stand

- "Beloit Trojan Black Shirt" program and recognition

- Trojan Night Out and "Trojan Spirit Award"

- Golf tournament during Beloit Homecoming/Alumni weekend
